Corporate Partner Program

At the start of the millennium, the Federation established a Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) comprised of corporations and companies that operate nationally/internationally and whose products and/or services are directed toward podiatrists and/or their patients. In 2011 the FIP/IFP launched the Corporate Partners Program (CPP) with three levels of participation: Gold member, Silver member and Bronze member.

The Corporate Partners contribute their expertise and funding towards the Federation's many projects and programs, which are designed to help provide foot care and foot health care advice to those with foot and ankle problems.

The Corporate Partners try to meet in person at least once per year with the Federation's executive board and at least one meeting is held in conjunction with Federation's Annual General Meeting.

In addition to providing increased exposure to podiatry around the world, corporate membership with the Federation also enables members to have access to the full membership of podiatrists through:

  • e-blasts sent to all podiatrists on a regular basis
  • presentations at Annual General Meetings
  • presence on the FIP/IFP website with their logo and links to their own websites
  • exposure through the quarterly FIP/IFP publication, "Footsteps"
  • sponsorship opportunities
  • use the FIP/IFP "Corporate Partner" logo on printed materials

As well, FIP/IFP Corporate Partners receive a variety of benefits depending on their level of participation:

  • reduced rates for the FIP/IFP Seal of Acceptance/Approval program
  • free placement of promotional piece on the FIP/IFP Virtual Exhibition Hall for Silver and Gold Partners
  • preferred exhibition booth placements for the FIP/IFP World Congress
  • international news release announcing involvement with the Federation
  • company logo included on World Foot Health Awareness posters
  • opportunities to partner with the FIP/IFP in Special Olympics "Fit Feet" program
At the 2014 FIP/IFP Annual General Meeting, which took place during  May 9-11 in Reykjavik, Iceland the FIP Board met with Bob Hardy and Steve Collings from Clark Shoes to discuss a strategy that would assist Clarks with a marketing strategy of their upcoming children's shoe line. Unfortunately several of our other Corporate Partners could not be in attendance in Iceland due to prior committments.
