Dr. Matt Garoufalis, FIP-IFP president was invited at the House of Delegates of the American Podiatric Medical Association, a quite familiar spot for him as former president of the Association. His speech to the Board of Trustees, Members of the House and Honored Guests present at the meeting focussed on the achievements the International Federation to make Podiatry more recognizable and understood around the world.
Brad Sonnema, president of the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association and also treasurer of the FIP-IFP was speaks as invited guest at the meeting.
The FIP-IFP has become a Partner with the European Wound Management Association. It hosts one of
the largest wound care meetings in the world, where we are in charge of a section of the Educational program at the upcoming conference in Amsterdam this May. We have also partnered with the European Society of Vascular Medicine and will part of their conference in Graz, Austria in May also. Focussing on strategic alliances to support the mission of the FIP-IFP is one of the strategic objectives of the FIP-IFP for the period 2016-2020.
